Basic Attention Token(BAT) is awarded for watching ads in Brave browser. The ads you watch are stored in the browser local storage thus maintaining privacy of users. In case of Facebook / Google ads watched by the user is send to a central server where it is stored and used for future profiling. It exchanges token for attention, thus the name.

Step 1: Download & Install the Brave browser.

Step 2: Enable Ads

  • Click on the address bar triangle icon.

 
  • Click Reward settings.
  • Enable Rewards
